While traveling to Salt Lake City I saw once again a storm coming over the clouds. If you have never seen this it is truly incredible. Photos do not do it justice. It is like the clouds stall over the mountains and then explode. I know they explained the inversion and I get it. But it is still worth seeing. The clouds become incredible in size. They are almost as big as the mountains and take hours to slowly come over the mountains. I have seen the same in Denver. These photos do not do justice as I photographed them out of a car window and it was very difficult to get moments without distractions. Plus the wide angle distorts perspective making the mountains appear smaller. As keep a camera ready as you never know what you will see 🙂
